Holistic or natural ovarian cyst pain remedies?

I’ve been having ovarian cyst trouble for the last couple of months. I was in the hospital yesterday for extreme pain. They said the cyst is causing my pain (it is 4 cm), and fluid which is realeased from the cyst during ovulation is moving about my abdomen and causing pain.

Are there any holistic or natural remedies to pain/cysts?

Reflexology and Acupuncture might be worth researching for you, both have a good track record with ovarian cysts. You might want to get Toni Weschler’s book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” – she has some recommendations in there on ovarian cysts and natural treatments. Good luck!

Put a spoon in the freezer for like 30 minutes or so && put it where the hickey is.Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes.

Doesn’t work? Try using foundation to cover it up

well the best way ive found is to stick a spoon in the freezer for like 10 – 20 minutes and then keep it on your hickie but make sure the spoon keeps cold.. i heard this from a friend at first but it actually works

If your concealer has Salicylic acid or what ever to treat zits and acne is it ok to sleep in?read the detail.?

My concealer had something to treat zits in it.I have a huge zit on my nose and it hurts.Is it ok for me to sleep with my concealer on?Will it cause more zits/acne?

better not to sleep with it. remember that it has a lot of other chemicals too, just cleanse your face thoroughly . and always sleep with a thoroughly cleansed face.

dont waste ur money on that concealer, just worry about getting oil free concealer. take it off. there is not enough salyctic acid in those products to fix ur acne, just enough to say theres some in there

How to get rid of pimples overnight?

I have pimples on my forehead and I really want to get rid of it (I don’t pop it of course!). Anything helpful? How to get rid of it overnight? Maybe it’s better if there will be no lemon juice, lavender oil, cinnamon, honey, etc (or any of those stuff) needed, because I don’t have one of those at home!

What is the best skin cure for acne?

I have mild acne that I have been trying to get rid of for weeks now, I wash my face every morning and night, but the acne seems to appear just as bad every time, I have used five products that proved unsuccesful. What are the best skin care products to use that do not cost over .00 or cause freaky side effects?

I wanted to try Proactive, but my cousin said it is hazardous to your skin, and it is kind of expensive, help!!!

The best thing for acne is antibiotics as that gets the staph bacteria under control which is what causes acne/

As long as you have health insurance, try going to a dermatologist. They can prescribe you medicines (and hopefully your co-pays are low) and/or suggest over the counter products to use.

What spot treatment for acne worked for you?

I have tried Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment it didn’t work also Mary Kay Acne treatment Gel…and now I have Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish stick and it doesn’t do much. But the main thing I would like to know is… what spot treatment works for you and how much it’s it and were can i find it? A link would help too. Also what about a Clearasil spot treatment. Does that work?

My mom heard from 2 other people that pansy tea works. At first she had me drink it but later on she started dabbing the (wet) tea bag on my face and it’s working. But drinking the tea also worked a bit.

Clean and Clear advantage stick works great for me. Of course the results aren’t instant or overnight but after a couple days my pimples are gone.

Also, clearasil acne cream works great.
You might be making your skin break out by using too many different products. Try sticking to one for about a week or two to see results.

incredibly, plain old toothpaste works well. dab a small amount of it on your pimples before you go to sleep (make sure you wait about 2 minutes to let it dry before laying down). you’ll wake up and your acne will have dried up a little.

this method works after a couple of nights. you won’t get any drastic results in one night unfortunately =/

Put a hot wet towel compress on your face for about 3 minutes. This will open your pores. Then use a non oily soap like irish spring to clean your face. Afterword you apply a cold wet towel compress for another 3 minutes to close your pores. Do this every day before you go to bed. It worked for me.

what is the best on-the-spot or overnight acne treatment?

i don’t have bad acne at all, i just got a pimple once and a while and its really bothersome. i am looking for one of those overnight treatments for acne. i have been looking at reviews and they make no sense, the reviews are so contradicting and some say positive things and some say negative. HELP!

try a dab of toothpaste applied on the pimple. not for smearing out onto the whole face !

I use something called Tea Tree Oil. It smells like crap and it’s very potent, but it works well for me. Normally you can pick it up at like a WalMart or CVS store, it’s normally (but not always) in with the vitamins and such.
Just use a cotton ball (or swab) and dab it on there. For me it works in about 9-12 hours, and it’s gone.

I had just heard a rumor about it because i was talking with a friend who dealed with acne for a couple months and she had told me a cure that 100% works so she said Lemon Juice cures it. Is this true?

No, I really wouldn’t think so.
Anything acidic or harsh like lemon juice will only make things much more irritated and worse.
Though, honey and egg yolks work great, if you are looking for moisturizing face masks!
