The last 2 weeks have been incredibly stressful and long at work. (I’m NOT a work-a-holic, I promise!…just a little manic…) so you’ll have to pardon the 2 huge zits on my forehead. stress makes me break out. it’s all good though, i should be out of the hot water next week and ready to chill and catch up with friends! (whom I miss and am longing for to see) Hope you enjoy, there is NOTHING like Bowie. Never has been, never will be. This song is almost unrecognizable. I heard The Thin White Duke performing an acoustic guitar version of this on a radio benefit program and thought it was beautiful so I had to give it a go on the ivories. Earthling is a mind-blowing effort. Everyone knows “I’m Afraid Of Americans” but this less-well-known song has some of the most beautiful lyrics ever written.
