Make sure you do eat a little before going to bed, but just biscuits and nothing that’s hard to digest.
Also, a facial wash can be really helpful. I use Mary Kay products (http://www.marykay.com/skincare/cleansers/cleansers/10001600/default.aspx and http://www.marykay.com/skincare/moisturization/10001500/10001500/default.aspx) and those really help.
Also, try to find a liquid make-up remover, because the sticky stuff will be more likely to clog up pores!
A combination of trying not to eat much and facial washes should help, I think!
I hate zits! I used to break out after eating cheese taco chips and certain pops when I was younger. I cannot go to bed without having something to eat either. Try taking notes or remembering what foods you eat before you go to bed and when your zits break out. This, hopefully, helps you narrow it down to what foods may be causing your reactions. In most cases, I believe that it is certain oils in foods that trigger zits- with some people it’s things like peanuts and others it could be something like certain cheeses, and so on. Certain anti-biotics used to be prescribed in the past (like Tetra-Cycline) but the side effects could cause other problems like yellow teeth.
